Question 1

What does Artemis actually do — and what do I still do myself?

Accepted Answer

Artemis is sourcing and outreach software. You describe the role; Artemis extracts the key skills and requirements, searches, and gives you a ranked queue of candidates with the reasoning behind every match. When you find someone great, you send personalised outreach directly from the platform, and Artemis keeps contact details and follow-ups in order.

Two moments are deliberately manual: you select which candidates to contact, and you reply when a candidate answers. Those are the parts of recruitment where human judgment and relationships matter most, so Artemis is built to protect them — and automate everything around them.

Question 2

Does Artemis replace our ATS?

Accepted Answer

No. An ATS manages candidates once they are in an active process. Artemis covers the work before that: from role brief to booked interview — the searching, matching and outreach that otherwise lives in inboxes, browser tabs and spreadsheets. The two complement each other.

Question 3

How does Artemis handle bias in the matching?

Accepted Answer

Candidates are ranked on skills, experience and qualifications — names and photos are excluded from the matching, so they cannot influence the ranking. Artemis also shows you the skills and keywords behind every match, so a score is never a black box: you can always see why a candidate surfaced, question it, and apply your own judgment.

No tool makes a process bias-free on its own — the decisions stay with you. But a ranking you can inspect is a much better starting point than a gut feeling you can't.

Question 4

Is Artemis GDPR compliant? What about the EU AI Act?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Artemis is built for full compliance with the GDPR and the EU AI Act, and protects your data — and your candidates' data — with advanced encryption. Transparency is part of the same thinking: recruiters must be able to stand behind every decision, which is why the platform shows the reasoning behind every match. The details are in our Privacy Policy.

Question 5

Will the automated messages sound like us?

Accepted Answer

That is the goal, and what our users tell us. One in-house TA team put it like this: "The response rate took us by surprise. Candidates actually reply, and the automated messages sound like us." Outreach is personalised per candidate and per role — automated delivery, human tone — and you can always edit before anything is sent.

Question 6

What response rates can we expect?

Accepted Answer

It varies with role, market and how well the requirement profile is defined — but outreach that is relevant and personalised consistently outperforms the generic messages most candidates ignore. Teams using Artemis reach successful outreach rates above 80%, and the surprise our users mention most often is that candidates actually reply. The honest way to find out for your roles: run the 30-day trial on a real one and measure.

Question 7

Do we need LinkedIn Recruiter or other sourcing tools as well?

Accepted Answer

Artemis is not built to compete with the channels you already use — it fills the gap between them, as the place where the whole workflow lives: requirements, search, ranking, outreach and follow-up. Many teams find that the manual searching they used to do elsewhere shrinks substantially once Artemis is doing the sourcing. Keep what works for you; Artemis will take care of the legwork either way.

Question 8

What happens to candidate contacts when a recruiter leaves?

Accepted Answer

They stay with the team. All candidates, conversations and history live in the platform rather than in a personal inbox or a private spreadsheet — so warm relationships your team has built don't walk out the door with one person.

Question 9

How does the free trial work?

Accepted Answer

30 days, all features included, no credit card required. Bring a real role — ideally a hard one — and use the trial to compare your numbers before and after: hours spent sourcing, time to first qualified conversation, response rate. You can start at artemisrec.com/trial.

Question 10

How is Artemis priced?

Accepted Answer

One plan, per user, per month — no surprises. Every subscription starts with the free 30-day trial. For larger teams, talk to us at info@artemisrec.com and we'll put a quote together.

Question 11

Who is Artemis for?

Accepted Answer

Professional recruiters: in-house TA teams and recruiters, recruitment and staffing agencies, and consulting firms sourcing consultants. If finding and contacting the right candidates is a core part of your work — and you'd rather spend your time on interviews and relationships than on repetitive searching — Artemis is built for you.
